ORIGON COAT
The Origon Coat, whose name comes from the Latin Origo, meaning “origin” or “beginning,” embodies the elemental start of this collection, inspired by two sources: obsidian, a stone used by ancient civilizations to glimpse the future, and Tezca, the god associated with it. This combination symbolizes power, ancestral wisdom, and transformation.
Its golden-brown hue evokes divinity and antiquity, reminiscent of the ceremonial attire worn by the young chosen to represent Tezcatlipoca: they lived as gods only for a year, adorned with magnificent garments embodying ephemeral beauty, as they were ultimately sacrificed. The oversized silhouette, featuring a dramatic collar, a long back strap that can be wrapped around the neck, and a central obsidian button, reflects the grandeur of these rituals and the cyclical nature of life: each Sun (era) ends to give way to the next, symbolizing death, rebirth, and transformation.

El Abrigo Origon, cuyo nombre proviene del latín Origo, que significa “origen” o “comienzo”, encarna el inicio elemental de esta colección, inspirado en dos fuentes: la obsidiana, piedra utilizada por las civilizaciones antiguas para ver el futuro, y Tezca, el dios asociado a esta piedra. Esta combinación simboliza poder, sabiduría ancestral y transformación.
Su tono oro viejo evoca divinidad y antigüedad, recordando la vestimenta ceremonial de los jóvenes elegidos para representar a Tezcatlipoca: quienes vivían como dioses durante un año, adornados con atuendos magníficos que encarnaban la belleza efímera, ya que al final eran sacrificados. La silueta oversized con cuello dramático, una tira larga posterior que puede enrollarse alrededor del cuello y su botón central de obsidiana refleja la majestuosidad de los rituales y la naturaleza cíclica de la vida: cada Sol (era) se destruye para dar paso al siguiente, simbolizando muerte, renacimiento y transformación.
